The brewing company is Dieu du Ciel and brews hundreds of beers. Well to start off, this is a Imperial Stout so it is going to be dark and has a 9.5% ABV. Did i say dark, i mean jet-black and when poured has a nice thick head that then dies down to zero. The smell of Dieu du Ciel Péché Mortel is of coffee and espresso with a little bit of chocolate hints.
This Imperial Stout has a big taste! With a roasted malt flavor and a big coffee taste this imperial stout will have you bouncing off the walls. Dieu du Ciel Péché Mortel has equal parts of thickness and carbonation so that everything is well balanced. If you are a dark beer or stout drinker and love coffee, grab you one of these bad boys.
